The PrepCast gives you 112 video and audio lessons. Each lesson averages 26 minutes length and focuses on one project management concept or process. The lessons cover concepts, tools and techniques you need to be familiar with to take the PMP® Certification exam. It covers the material from the 2008 PMBOK® Guide (4th Edition), and it includes the necessary models, theories and formulas not covered in the Guide.
The video lessons are interesting, engaging and the primary instructor Cornelius Fichtner, PMP is very enthusiastic about the topics presented. He won’t bore you!
One of the main goals of The PM PrepCast is to help you understand concepts instead of memorizing them. Students agree that this goal is achieved and that watching The PM PrepCast is a million times more entertaining that reading the PMBOK Guide.

If you need to cram for the PMP Exam, then I recommend the PM PrepCast. The level of detail was perfect. The start and end summaries on each chapter were very helpful. Presenter was interesting, clear and factual.
The downside is that you will get TOTALLY sick of the theme tune... it is played at the start, end, and sometimes during each module. But if you can fast-forward it, then I would recommend spending the cash.

I've heard once the PM PrepCast in conjunction with PMBOK and this was enough to pass the exam. Very good material for one who wants to learn project management and pass the exam. I recommend this material for any project manager.

it is smooth English, and easy to concentrate on. It is valuable for the experienced project manger , but for me I still need time before I can pass the PMP test to enter more comments.
The study guide, summary and the lectures are really helpful - it's a good change and supplement to reading and weeding through the PMBOK.
Very supportive and responsive web team, too.
Highly recommended.......

I have just become a PMP. Whilst it takes a lot of preparation and a proper study plan to help get focused for the exam, I would especially like to thank Cornelius for the excellent Precast that I purchased and kept listening for almost 3 weeks to reinforce the PMBOK guide material and other references. I strongly recommend this precast as the language, content and approach are very clear and easy to understand.
Good luck to all those taking the PMP.

I periodically teach PMP preparation courses. As I prepare each session, I review a variety of sources. The PM PrepCast is a resource I've come to know and trust. I recommend it to students in my classes as a strong tool to incorporate into their study plans.

The PM PrepCast is an excellent resource for any PMO. Whether seeking a certification or to acquire additional knowledge, the PM PrepCast is both informative and entertainment.

I can't recommend The PM PrepCast enough if you are short of time to study, I could never have passed without it because:
- I could never fit in the amount of study I did if I couldn't do it while driving, jogging, cooking, sorting washing and a million other things I did while listening to your pod cast
- Clear explanations of each process, how they relate to the real world and what they really mean
- Excellent interviews with a range of PMPs to see how they approached study and their experiences
- Such a reasonable price I didn't even think twice about ordering it
- Exam tips such as using multiple sources, doing plenty of practice questions, and many others

I just passed the PMP-exam. My attention for PMI started thanks to the PM Podcast. After some time I followed a PMP-exam-course. Besides this, I bought the PM PrepCast which was very helpfull. It gave me not only additional information, but also the necessary motivation to study. It was very pleasent to hear Cornelius telling about the PMBok instead of studying very lonesome late at night.
So thank you for this excellent PM Prepcast. I recommend this to everyone who's planning to pass the exam.

Hi Cornelius, greetings from El Salvador in Central America
I want to share with you that I have traveled this week to USA and passed yesterday (23th Oct) mi PMP exam!!!
I want to thanks for the PM PrepCast material since it was a helpful source and challenged me to take the PMP exam. All the psychological preparation to visit to the prometric center, the food experience, and others were really helpful tips that made the difference from other sources of information available. It was very practical to plan the chapters and process to read as you requested, because it helped me to have the baseline to compare my progress on the reading.
I had to complement the study by reading the RMC book and Andy Crowe book which helped me to practice for the exam. Which were recommended in a recent podcast that you published in august, when you interviewed two ladies that passed the exam too.
Regards, Carlos Paredes

I felt as if Cornelius was speaking to me directly while listening to these podcasts and never got bored. Job done very nicely!
I will for sure recommend PrepCast to other students - it has high value and much worthier than it is priced for comfort. Prior to buying PrepCast I spent so much money... it helped but not to the extent of listening while driving, walking, eating, natural breaks and even while actively working on a few project reports at work.
It doesn't replace the task of reading PMBOK – but provides a good conceptual knowledge. I bought this product after scheduling my exam date - kind of late, so I recommend you to buy much earlier and listen to all when you are away on the road.
I passed my PMP on 10/20 – proficient in all areas except Initiating was shown moderate. I am targeting next for PgMP.
Best Regards,
Sridhar Raju, PMP (Proudly...)

It's not the destination, but the journey. My journey had a milestone success today with a passing grade on the PMP!!!!
Thanks to Cornelius Fichtner and his podcast.
I started to listen in August, after I had knee surgery. I continued to listen in September and October, each day during my 2 hour commute time. I listened during lunches, breaks and walks. Once, twice, review!
On the weekends when I did the practice exams, Cornelius' voice was a familiar one in our office. (My husband appreciated that I didn't need to spend thousands of dollars on courses).
I am a mid-fifties grandmother, successful PM, but struggling to compete in this world. I beleive the PMP certification will help.
But, the most important success is all the information I learned from the PrepCast and from my work books. I look forward to listening to his podcasts, to continue my learning adventure in the future.
Again, thank goodness for the podcast!!!!! Thank you for the journey.

Hi Cornelius,
Thank you, thank you, thank you Cornelius. I passed the PMP certification today, thanks to your PM PrepCast. I listened to it maybe 5 to 7 times in conjunction with the PMBOK and it did really stuck to my head, I mean your voice. While I was answering the questions, I thought you were whispering the answers to me.
Thanks Cornelius, that what quite a podcast you have. I am recommending it to all of my friends, which incidentally, are now interested in taking the PMP exam because I served as an example to them that it can be achieved.
"Until next time".
regards,
Engr. Henry M. Cabansag, PMP
