The Project Management PrepCast™ is a 38 hour long video podcast that helps you prepare for the PMP Exam with your iPod or other portable media player.

The PrepCast gives you 112 video and audio lessons. Each lesson averages 26 minutes length and focuses on one project management concept or process. The lessons cover concepts, tools and techniques you need to be familiar with to take the PMP® Certification exam. It covers the material from the 2008 PMBOK® Guide (4th Edition), and it includes the necessary models, theories and formulas not covered in the Guide.

The video lessons are interesting, engaging and the primary instructor Cornelius Fichtner, PMP is very enthusiastic about the topics presented. He won’t bore you!

One of the main goals of The PM PrepCast is to help you understand concepts instead of memorizing them. Students agree that this goal is achieved and that watching The PM PrepCast is a million times more entertaining that reading the PMBOK Guide.

I can't say enough good things about this product. Firstly, it is very reasonably priced. Secondly, Mr. Fitchner makes what is basically pretty dry material into an interesting and meaningful journey. Thirdly, I particularly liked that I could replay lessons that I didn't quite get the first time as often as I needed. I could stop the podcast and make notes at my own pace. Lastly, the resources & tips, the sample questions and links to other PMP resources were fantastic.

Excellent product! A great way to get a crash course preparing for the PMP Exam. Thanks Cornelius!

The PrepCast explained the PMBOK Guide in a clear and logical manner that made it much easier to understand. Understanding what the processes and their ITTOs mean, why they are there, and how they are related is the key to remembering them. This was the only course that I took to prepare for the PMP exam, and it was all I needed to pass on the first try. I could not be more satisfied.

Cornelius was my constant companion for the ten days I naively thought was enough to study for the PMP exam. Fortunately, the PrepCast was clear and thorough, and I passed the exam. The background music was a bit tiresome, but I have to say I listened for about ten hours a day. During the exam I could hear that music in the back of my head. Maybe it helped. This product is a great value, and I recommend it to anyone who asks.

From another fully-credentialed PMP thanks in no small part to Cornelius Fichtner, I found the PM Prepcast material to be thorough, thoughtful, engaging, and (usually) easy to listen to (which is remarkable in itself considering how "exciting" the PMBOK Guide is to begin with). This, coupled with my other training and prep work which also included Cornelius' Formula Study Guide, had me going into exam day confident and cautiously optimistic, and I proceeded with performing admirably in all of the process groups covered on the exam.

The PM PrepCast was a great asset to me in my jouney to passing the PMP exam on the first try. The most beneficial thing I got out of it was the ability for me to turn my commute into worthwhile study time. I am certainly happy I purchased it!

Hi,

I have recently started for the PMP Exam. This podcast is a great tool to pass the exam in first attempt. Full credit to Mr. Cornelius and his team. The sessions are well paced and interesting.

I was initially a bit skeptical about the PM PrepCast but decided to subscribe to it because of the low cost. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. Cornelius has definitely worked hard to put this together and it really helps understand the PMBOK Guide.

All the Best!
I have not taken the test yet but I think the PrepCast helps me with an overall expectation of the exam. It simplifies and removes the fear of the unknown to the extent that I ask myself wherein lies the difficulty of the exam (though I have not taken it) but I guess it is because I understand the PrepCast.
The one question I have is why Cornelius keeps announcing and introducing the PrepCast at the start of each episode. I think once you start you know what is going on so the introduction of the next topic is enough. Otherwise, overall, I think it is an excellent starting point for novices and the experienced alike. I could have waited for the 4th edition of the PMBOK to come out but I could not wait so I bought the 3rd edition to get an early start. Cornelius now owes me an update to the 4th. By the way, I like how all the episodes are personalized with my name. It gives me an ownership.

Thank-you Cornelius for this excellent product. It effectively helps me passing the exam helping to focus the effort on the key points required by the test.

I strongly recommend it.

Excellent companion to the PMBOK and getting through the test. I've been managing projects for many years so was familiar with most of the concepts, but not all the specific terms used by PMI. The PM PrepCast was a real help to determine which concepts I needed to focus and to familiarize myself with the terms in order to pass the test.
I've had many, many hours of project training, but so long ago I couldn't dredge up any of the training names or dates. So having my training hours covered by the PrepCast in a very cost-efficient manner was great!

I believe the PrepCast is excellent and do assist a lot while studying by explaining the PMBOK info

Wonderful. You have to try this. Thanks Cornelius !

This has been an invaluable resource for me to prepare for the PMP. Due to my routine work schedule, I get very little time to sit down and go through course material, let alone a dry standards document such as PMBOK. Every time I need to brush up on a topic, I just reach for my iPod and refer to chapter/ITTO to get better confidence and insight.

PM PrepCast is really useful and allows to learn by listening even when you are driving, cooking and jogging. Full marks to PM PrepCast.

Thanks,

Great content! Passed 1 week after listening to the entire PrepCast!

I think for the price this is a great buy. This beats reading PMBoK any day. I only wish the music was something lighter. I find the background score a bit distracting.

I found the PM PrepCast via Google and it was a life-saver. I was preparing for the PMP test with a very short deadline and the ability to listen to the podcast when and wherever was a great convenience. More importantly, the course was so well constructed, with clear and vivid explanations and just enough repetition to help set the ideas in my mind that I found both learning and reviewing much more effective. I think it's no accident that my scores on the exam reflect which sections I had gotten through and which ones I hadn't. I'd recommend the PM PrepCast to anyone who's looking for a great tool both for getting through the PMP exam and post-exam refreshing.

I bought this podcast in the fifth month of my test preparation and used it for 3 weeks before exam.

I realised that I should have bought this before which would have saved lot of time I spent in understanding PMBOK.

I cleared my exam today and I am going to listen to this even after my exam as this is very interesting.

I recommend this to anyone who wants to understand PMBOK quickly and completely.

One think I do not like is the Reading of concepts in the podcast by many people. The voice is not clear and I found it difficult to hear them when I am in treadmill.. Can you please fix this sir?
